I have a '73 variable speed/3-speed wiper motor that is now surplus. We had it in our '70 until I found the correct wiper motor. It was rebuilt (by Cardone, I think) and purchased at an auto parts place. It was covered in black paint. I got most of the black paint off of it and refinished the motor "can" with gold-tinted lacquer and most of the rest of it with clear. It is very presentable, but of course it's not show quality. I'm almost 100% sure that we had to switch the position of two of the wires on the plug to make it work on a '70, so if someone takes it, they'll have to check a '73 wiring diagram or the motor they already have to put the wires back.
