Anyone heard of these radiators?
« on: March 19, 2009 - 01:04:23 AM »
Looks to be a direct bolt in for a 26" radiator, just wondering if anyone has used one or know of someone who has. Seems like a too good to be true kinda price but looks good in the pics.

Dirt cheap, but it looks "pretty rough around the edges". Craftsmanship leaves somthing to be desired.

Price sure can't be beat! I looked through 30 pages of his feedback and found 1 guy pissed that shipping was more in Hawaii??? And it looks like one guy didn't get his part but was refunded. He sure does a huge volume! I need a rad too, looks tempting?
One thing I didn't like is the stamped rad cap neck. I prefer machined, but for that price if I had a problem I could weld on a new one! I noticed in the pictures in different listings ( I typed " dodge challenger " in his store the inlets and outlets are on different sides. Make sure you specify. Different prices for 440, 318 etc. but they all have 2 rows of tubes in the core?

This is what I got this am . They have two rad kisted for a 383. One is 130 and the other is 180 dollars??

Sometimes there is a price difference because we are in the middle of changing our prices. Prices are changing constantly within Ebay. We have thousands of items listed and sometimes we have a hard time adjusting our prices in time. We are current working on making the necessary changes. You might want to take advantage of the lower pricing. We apologize for the confusion. In addition, we only use FedEx. Thank you.

FedEx International Priority $129.29
FedEx International Economy $108.79
FedEx International Ground $81.24

The rates are based on the weight and dimensions of the radiator. Please note that the buyer is responsible for any applicable Customs and Duty fees upon delivery.

Got mine (26 inch) from Radiator US on E-Bay, direct bolt in absolutely no modifications were needed.  Living in Southern California we see temps at 100 degrees or more and have not had any issues after I upgraded the cooling system with high flow water pump and new heater core- old one was rotting out and would plug up cores in radiator with rust!

Don’t have exact HP for the 440 I was running, but specs were:
·   10.25:1 Compression with new KB HP Pistons.
·   Heads are Edelbrock RPM Performer Aluminum, Intake 2.14 Exhaust 1.81
·   XE274H Cam, Lift: intake .488, Ex .491, Duration 230/236
·   2400 Stall with Trans Go Stage 2 shift kit
·   Quick Fuel 830 cfm Double Pumper w/mechanical secondaries
·   Performer manifold Aluminum Radiator, Aluminum High Flow Water Pump
·   Dual electric cooling fans
·   Ceramic Coated Headers to dual exhaust 2 1/2 pipes to 40 Series Flowmasters
·   Rear end 3.23 "Strange Engineering" Posi

I am nearly done with the new motor, 500 Stroker!  I hoping that will also stay cool!

Good Luck.

I gotta agree that the thing sure looks sloppy. Of course the price is a reflection of the poor quality. When I look at that sloppy welding it makes me wonder how much they cared about the rest of the workmanship?? You get what you pay for. It might work OK, But I would be afraid to buy it. Would you buy a new car with weld seams that looked like that?? I know with some products you are just paying for the over-priced name. I am not into "name brands" but definitely want quality. Personally I wouldn't put it in my classic car. I might put it in my Ford!! :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley:
