When I was in High school about 10,00 acres burned close to my house. It displaced a lot of animals. The neighborhood dogs usually played around together. That fire pushed a decent sized bobcat into our neighborhood. It wasn't a city neighborhood, but outside of town. After a few weeks most of the dogs in the neighborhood had been killed by that cat. It was crazy.
340Chall, I'm not sure about non-resident fees or anything like that. I can look it up. I do know that you must have a valid Texas hunting license to hunt any animal, from hogs to deer.
FarmerTan, I would love to trade, but as of right now I have no more lease. It expired on the 31st and right now I can't afford to renew it. My first son is due by next Tuesday so I'm trying to concentrate on those bills. I would love to make a trade, but I can't right now.
I have a .223 AR that is all camo, but I haven't finished working up the handloads for it. Once I do though I will probably use it quite a bit, although my 22-250 is one of my favorite guns and I have taken plenty of varmints with it.
