I am putting together a 4 speed for my 73 340 Cuda. Is the 3-4 lever the flat lever? And I assume the 1-2 lever is the bent lever. Is that correct?
Also the levers have two holes where the shift rods go into. I am assuming using the top holes will give me a longer throw at the shifter and the lower holes will give me a shorter throw. Is that correct? I want to set the shifter up and adjust it before I put the trans into the car.
