master cylinder stud question
« on: April 08, 2009 - 01:11:15 PM »
Got a new (reman) master cylinder today and realized that it doesnt include the mounting studs....

Is there a trick to getting the old ones off the old one without trashing them ? Or do I need to locate new ones?

Seems like they should come with the master cylinder.....but they didnt....

they just press into the master , put a nut on the end of the stud & tep them out with a hammer , they are not in that tight

Ok, will try that......although as I recall mine are a little crusty....hopefully they will stand up to the abuse...

Any chance these are a "standard" sort of replacement item easily found?
