You can do the Sirius with a dash-mounted antenna (it's about the size of a quarter.  It's unobtrusive and does not have to be permanently installed, but you'll get much better reception with an exterior antenna.  Also, the Sirius music channels ARE commercial-free.  I think you can do an online 2-day trial to check it out first.

Otherwise, the iPod (specifically) is the way to go.  I have an iPod specifically for my Challenger (it has only '60s & '70s music) in the Chally at all time.  You can get an 8GB iPod (about 2,000 songs - more space than you'll need) for about $150.

for a radio delet car I would hide a stero with ipod input in the glove box with no antenna and play an I pod or cd's.  :2cents:

Some of the better ones come with a remote so you can tune from the drivers seat.  :bananasmi

In my truck I installed an AM/FM unit that had one great feature - it could pull the tunes off of an SD card. An SD card is about the size of a wheat thin, and holds the equivalent of maybe a dozen CDs. The radio stations around here stink anyway, so I just load up the card from my computer, stick the card in the unit and I have all the tunes I want. I got the unit new for $90 on ebay. If you want I'll dig up the brand.

I don't plan on any stereo for my Challenger, as it'll be far too loud anyway.

I have read this whole thread and I think that unless you can find a discreet antena like for XM radio that you should just forget radio and do what the others suggest with a usb jump drive cd player or sd adapter and download your own. If you have trouble finding what you like on XM radio I find it hard to believe that you will find it on FM. I just carry a buttload of cd's and suppliment with the radio from time to time.
