What's the quickest ET you have driven?

lemming303's question gave me the idea for this poll (can't think of my own).  Had to put 1/8th for people like me who only race on 1/8th mile tracks.  You can vote both 1/8 and quarter.  Picture's would be good.

Back in the early 80's and being a young man on a VERY limited budget, I ran my 1973 Plymouth Barracuda at the old 1/4 mile Suffolk Raceway in Suffolk VA. I loved drag racing and the old track. My Barracuda was very similar in build to Mike Goody's. It was a 318 with a 727 torqueflite and mild cam with some head work, headers and 650 Holley. I managed to get it into the mid 13's. I had a blast with it. The track closed in the late 80's and I've never raced since, but recently rode in a 9 second pro/street car that got the juice flowing again for racing. I also had to change my shorts!! :roflsmiley: :smilielol: :roflsmiley:

I wish I could remember what my car ran back in the 70's if I told you the whole story you might not beleive it for sure.  I think I ran 11 in a quarter but may have been a little faster than that with a 63 1/2 barracuda.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

I managed a 12.84 somehow back in '82. I ran the car harder than I like to to get that so I never ran it again. But at least I can say I got under 13 sec once.
Don't look back, I might be gaining on you.
