Crush can install

Finally got around to redoing my steering column and now its time to install a crush can! I have an aftermarket grant wheel..... what do I need and how?

maybe i just need a spacer or something to ge the weheel away from the dash some?

What style wheel? You'll need the accordion crush can and can probably just redrill the wheel to the factory mounting points. Or I believe summit or any other distributor will sell an adapter for the grant wheel. But I believe you still have you have the stock accordion like crush can.

I have the grant 440 wheel.... challenger series like yours..... I have a factory crush can...

grant 440 was installed with one of their kits and crush can wasnt used......  :working:

I have just drilled the 4 holes & tapped the holes for the horn mount to make it work on the factory crush can

Without the crush can, your knuckles will regret it.

Grant doesn't have the proper spacer anymore for the Challenger.

To work best, the best option is to drill it for the crush can.
