Newly Installed Rallye Guages/Switches - THANKS
« on: April 27, 2009 - 09:19:55 PM »
I finally got my Rallye Guages installed in my Vert.   I can't thank all those who gave me advice (and encouragement) on this site.   I started planning this project last fall, gathered (bought) the parts, installed new limiter & tach update and carefully took the old one out......     Today, I got the new set in and  :woo: everything worked!    Thanks again to some of the experts here..... I couldn't have done this without your help.

A few pics.....

Bullitt:     Thanks.    Again, the advice and hints on how to tackle this project from guys like MEK, Chryco, CudaGuy & others on this site were very helpful.   Also, Scott from RTE (where I got the tach parts & new limiter) was also quite helpful.

Yes, the bezels are new (P&G if I recall).  I tried to be so carefull so as not to scratch them (they are pricey); I even put some tape on the left side of the switch plate when I "gently' maneuvered it into place......    Despite this, unfortunately, when I took the tape off (masking tape) I got a little of the paint too.   But, I had some brown paint around from a craft set -- so I touched it up and you can't tell the difference.
