You need a small jewelers screw driver to get them off. DON'T lose those little screws!!   :nono:

You can just get one of those little kits with 6 screw drivers and a couple pair of small pliers for under 20 bucks. They come in handy from time to time.

The cost of those 2 screws is stupid for the size. I have been looking for mine for months holding back from spending 16 bucks for something that can be shipped just by the glue on the back of a stamp

I have a new set somewhere for my dash because mine were missing. I dont remember what size they are but I would be willing to bet a short trip to a watchmaker or even a jeweler that does work on watches just might yield the screws you need Alan. Might try that and see what happens.

I just finished my Rally install -- and picked up a super nice used clock/speedo knob with the set screw for $10 from RTE.   I don't know if they have any more.......

if anyone is wondering, i need to pull the gauges b/c i still have a hair dryer smell with the car running. unplugging the tac at the coil wasnt enough, just digging deeper like chryco suggested..

 :working:

cant wait to cruise, waiting to hear back on a local fender, should still be bringing the car to Carlisle i hope..... would like to have my dash and windshield... we will see....

Wally,

You want me to bring you that little screw driver? Here's another thought, new ceramic coated headers stink some when you first run the car. Didn't you recently put on new TTI's?

i did, but i already ran them enough and remember the smell...... i just think i have bad electrical luck in prime cruising season. we do need to meet up though. i paid $2.99 for one of those stupid little screw-me drivers last night @ CVS....  :money:

i hope to ride soon. ive been dividing time between working on the Truck also.... so everything is demanding my attention right now.  :faint:
