I'll keep a sharp eye on my mailbox then.

If the matching car ever surfaces I will be sure to let you know also. Thanks Joe!  :wave:

Welcome to the site.  :wave:

Everything I have here is listed on HH in the found section at this link;

By allowing folks to search for their own VIN, it saves me a lot of time.  :bigsmile:

Best of luck!

Hey Joe,
The broadcast sheet & license plate made it today, thank you! I'll use the sheet for the May '09 item of the month.  :thumbsup:

Do you know what the VIN is of the car is that you found the sheet in? I have started tracking that kind of thing.

Sorry i do not have the vin of the car it was in. The car it was in was a friend of mines. It did not match the vin of his car so he give it to me. I do remember it was not close to his vin.

Ok, thanks! I would bet that even though the VINs were not close that the cars were built very close together.  ;)

It is the current IOTM;

Thanks again!

Claimed & mailed out to the owner of the car today.  :bananasmi

Quoting myself with an update - I got a letter from Bill today, he found a broadcast sheet for  JS23V0B278082 in his pink T/A & mailed it to me. It is free to owner of the car with proof of legal ownership.

Thanks Bill!

Hi Barry,

We played email tag a week or two ago regarding a scanned window sticker and a warranty booklet from different cars I found in my paperwork.  I mailed them out to you on Monday from Southern California.  Not sure how long it takes to get to you, but wanted to give you a heads up that I did send them.  Hopefully you can find the current owners!

I think it's really cool that you have taken this task on, and wish you the best!

Thanks for the update John, mail from CA usually takes a week or less, so they may get here tomorrow or Monday. I'll let you know when they arrive.  :wave:

I got excited and then started to laugh at myself.  I found 2 of mine The "B" one is in good shape, the "A" one (think that was the one behind the glove box) was shredded and barely there (wife thinks that when she was cleaning it shortly after she got it she pulled most of it out).  The other one is missing.  Started reading the VINS for the 1974 and thought hey that sounds familiar, so I ran down and grabbed the sheet I have in Poly carb first 7 digits match but the rest don't oh well
