Rats
« on: May 06, 2009 - 06:36:50 PM »
I just had to share my morning at work .my boss and i set out rat traps this morning and we used penut butter for bait ,but with all good ideas things can go wrong .when a lady in the front office got wind of our plan she went around and removed the penut butter from the traps while we were all  at lunch , but unfortunately she broke a finger in one of the traps .as she was leaving to get her finger set i just had to ask why .her responce was the penuts are bad for digestion in small animals . :roflsmiley:

a small piece of a stick slim jim is the ultimate. jam it on the hook, make sure the trap faces a solid flat surface(i.e. a wall or similiar), and off you go. guaranteed to work. :2thumbs:

oh, and for the lady involved, sux to be her!!

that should teach her to touch what dont belong to her.   :stirpot:

I've used peanut butter. It works pretty good. And killing rats is awesome!

Kinda like swabbing the convict on death row's arm with alcohol before administering the lethal injection.  :clueless:

It's a lot more fun to hunt them with a 12 gauge.  They run like h*ll if you don't get them with the first shot.

I like this one for sure and can think of some guys that would do that for sure.

That should teach anyone not to put there fingers where they are not suppose to be.

We were taught before I went to Iraq not to pick up anything you did not put down on the ground so this would have been good for her to know as well.  hehehehe
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

:clueless: So was she more concerned about the rats getting a stomache ache vs actually getting killed?  :dunno:  If she was concerned about them getting killed, she would have just thrown away the whole trap, wouldn't she?  :dunno:

I've actually heard of this before.  The lady thought it was only a stun type trap, like a catch and release.
