4 speed with Air?

How many 4 speed A/C cars are still out there? I have been looking around and hardly ever see one. Mopars in general are not common at cruise nights and car shows as it is. Just wondering how hard it's going to be to find a 4 speed air car?

Mine is a four-speed air car, but I'm not sure it's an original four-speed.  The fender tags are gone and the hole cut in the floor for the linkage indicates it's not.

Not too common, but they are out there.  Would only be available with a small block or 383.   Probably would see them more often in the later year E bodies.

With 440s and of course hemi's.   383s and under you could 4 speed with air.

Yup, from what I understand 383/4 speed was the top dog if you wanted to shift yourself and have a/c too. I dont see why they didnt put a/c with the 440, it probably had a lower rpm limit than the 383 and that was really all they were worried about, too high of revs for the compressor.

Mine is a 340 4 speed with air. Sometime in the late 70's or early 80's the owner pulled the A/C system out from the heater box forward. I am having a heck of a time finding replacment parts for it.

Near me there is a 73 Chally Rally, 440 4 speed no air. Can a good working A/C system be installed in this car that never had A/C?

There was a dealer installed air conditioner system that people could get. I have a buddy who owns a 72 Rallye 340 car that had the dealership air put on. I have a few pics of where the hoses were run into the firewall which is not even close to a stock one with air. There is nothing on it at all anymore but it will give you an idea. If you want the pics posted I will post them again.
