I'm working on my 1970 Challenger TA clone; have a freshly rebuilt 1968 340 and am looking at getting the Accurate TA 340 Exhaust System, but now understand that my 1971 Ball Style Flange Exhaust Manifolds won't bolt to the 1970 TA Exhaust Manifolds (and other 1970 only manifolds) with the HP Flat Flang!  I would either need to have Custom Head Pipes built or spring for repro 1970 Exhaust Manifolds at roughly $900 plus shipping, or search indefinately for a set of 1970 Exhaust Manifolds.  Any other options?

Thanks, Charlie

I would just get a set of flanges cut to match the exhasut agsket & weld then onto the end of the head pipes you have

Thats what I was thinking, but the mfg wanted to build some custom head pipes (understandably more time, pipe and $ involved).  I'm going to go with the noted cost effective solution, but will need to trailer the car to an exhaust shop for the noted fix.

Thanks, Charlie

Any 1968-1970 340 manifolds will bolt to the T/A exhaust pipes.
