My father-in-law has been complaining about his cat getting on the cars for years. We found this product (
http://www.safepetproducts.com/scat-mat-for-cats-and-dogs.html) and it worked great. It took about a week of training and the cat not only doesn't get on the Roadrunner and Crossfire in the garage, it won't jump on any of the cars in the driveway.
Our cat doesn't spend much time in our garage, but now with the new paint, I don't want it in there at all. I'm currently borrowing his mats and have been 'training' our cat with great results. Now I want the cat to spend more time in the garage to really send the message home.
The shock is really like a strong static discharge from carpet. It's sort of satisfying too. Am I evil for that?
