While waiting for my tranny to get done, I have started working on the interior, even though I told myself I was going to wait.... :screwy:

Anyways, pulled the package tray and there is perfect blue paint under there.....would like to be abel to say what code my car used to be  before it was painted sublime....I dont think its petty blue, but its also not the b5 blue....

I thought if anyone has a chip chart online for 72 I could figure it out....

I dont have the buildsheet or fender tag so no idea what mine is...

Petty Blue is lighter isnt it??

Here's mine....I think the flash lightened it up some....the paint under the dash seems darker that the shelf does......the second picture is closer to reality I think...

As I mentioned TB3 is what had always been called Petty Blue before. In the first picture it sure looks like TB3, but the reflection in the mirror could be GB5. Remember, the 1972 B5 is NOT the same as the 1970 B5. It's darker.
