The dealership in my hometown is closing, Fridays Chrysler-Dodge in Conrad , Iowa. It was always a small dealer with about 25-30 new cars on the lot. Family owned since the 1940's. The original owner's son, Tim Friday, is till the GM / Salesperson / Service Advisor / Good Ol' Boy. His Dad and his Uncle opened the business after returning home from WWII. Still operating in the original building built back in the late 1890's. They never had a showroom, just some cars parked on the lot. Sad to see them go.
The one that surprised me in Iowa was Des Moines Chrysler(Plymouth). That will leave Iowa's largest city with only one Mopar dealer.
