Not every one does white letter tires. They add cost and weight to the tire and with the dimenishing 15" tire market, they don't find it worth the effort.

BFGs haven't had a significant change to materials, construction, compounds, or tread pattern since the late 80s, early 90s. They are probably the oldest design street tire, next to bias plys, still available out there.

I would have guessed all tire manufacturers would have a line of tires with white lteering.

Chryco, I have ran BFG's on a lot of my cars and trucks, everything from mud tires to the ones on the chally andnever had any problems with them.. What issues have you had?

Badly out of round so balancing has no effect on the ever present vibration, poor traction wet or dry & poor design for truck tires , 1 revolution in the mud & the tread plugs up & will not clean out

I am looking at both the Firestone Indy 500s and the Goodyear Eagle GT IIs. They both look pretty good. My choices are very limited by sizes and the desire for white letter tires. I am partial to Goodyears. I have run different types of Goodyears on all my cars. Never had a problem. They always took very little weight to balance them.
Anyone have any opinions on either of these tires?

I too am somewhat partial to the Good Years , the GTII seem to be a decent tire although traction is limited with them

CP,
I figure the Goodyears will be a lot better than the repro bias ply F70x14s. Any experience with the Firestones?

I have Firestone Indy 500 on my other car ( bb buick) and for the money I think they are great! I'm just getting ready to order more for the Challenger!
