That is great stuff. Also, when these types of builds happen the guy doesn't have to pay the tax on it. I hear that many people who win things or get their car done on Overhaulin' end up selling because the taxes they have to pay.

Having done 3 and a half deployments I know that it is an excellent time to save the money for the project. When you aren't there to go to the movies or out to eat you really make headway on the budget, then you get back and want to spend the money on the car and somehow half gets spent elsewhere or things come up. Then while your home you're training like crazy to go back again in 10 to 12 months. Time and money do not cooporate.

Like someone said, it is good to have gearhead friends. Even if it is just storing a car for a military guy while he is away it means alot. Knowing it is safe eases alot of worries.
