Fuel and watergauge doesn't work
« on: May 15, 2009 - 02:54:56 PM »
I tested both sendingunits so I guess that's leaves the voltagelimiter? It's a -70 non rally, I grounded
the wires to fuel and watergauge but nothing happens. Where can I buy a new limiter if that's the problem?

try RT engeneering (http://www.rt-eng.com/mediawiki/index.php/Main_Page) or make one yourself ;) at allpar.com there's a simple guide on how to make a solid state VL.

you need to check voltage into the guage , the problem could be the guage itself or the voltage limiter , so you need to test for pulsing 5V feed to the the guages from the limiter , if you are getting 5V out of the limiter to the guage the guage is bad .
