Hey Barry.....
« on: May 17, 2009 - 09:34:56 PM »
Remember that car I sent you pictures of? Well I stopped by today for the third time and actually asked if I could see it. The people were sitting in their yard drinking some beer so I did not hold them up long(I hate being a nuisance) but I can confirm that the car is indeed a B5 with blue interior T/A. Her dad bought it new. All I can think is that it had a radio installed at the dealer. Looking at the mast it seemed to be in a not so perfect spot too. Anyway, I told her to look up your site and look for a possible build sheet. Car has a standard dash and console automatic. Looked pretty rough but it was pretty much all there and they said they still had the original block.

If there were any placed in the car when it was built I bet they are still there. The interior had rips in the driver seat and the headliner was coming down but looked to be untouched territory. I dont know why but I always feel odd asking people if I can take pics or asking them if they will open the hood. I would not mind someone asking me unless I was in a hurry and they were definitely in no hurry lol.

I have gotten away with the search part, & the beer part, but so far, not both at the same time.

I'll do a quick search & see if I know of any in B5 with D32, H6B5 & no radio yet.....

Nope, I did not find a similar one in my records. So it must be a new one to me, or possibly one I do not have all the details on yet. We currently have 1331 T/As recorded in the registry, so there is a ways to go yet.

When I hear from the owners I can let you know for sure.
