I'm not a trans guy, but I don't think it is the cable. Actually I have throttle and downshift cable, much neater set up than stock.
The trans shop tried:
- Lokar Cable
- Valve Body
- Physically pulled trans, dissassembled, replaced a internal valve, reassembled
- Blew engine on test drive (1st gear at 7,000+ rpm)
- Had insurance handle new engine, that was absoutley no fun.
- 2nd valve body
- 2nd Trans Go shift kit
- Mimimum 12 visits since November 2008
- Still no joy!
I guess part of the problem is a fairly small town, and no one who works on muscle cars! Looks like I will need to go to San Diego (50 miles) to find someone who has the knowledge to work on this!
