I'm looking for a set of 1968 to 1970 Stock Exhaust Manifolds for a 340.

There's no matched sets being listed but did you see these?

You'll also need the D/S spark plug heat shield to complete them.
I recall the repro selling for $175.00.

Okay, I obtained the stock exhaust manifolds (don't ask me how much----- hint, you can check the above auctions), but is the spark plug shield a necessity, or can I go without one?

I went without one for just over 17,000 miles on the car with no problems.
