Another Panel replacemnt Question
«

Am I right in thinking that it would be better to join the patch panel off the body line?
Or should it be on the line?
I cut the bad out about 1/4" below the line so I'm at least a little committed but could go up more still.

I cut about 1/2 below the body line, when I replace my lower quarters (I did this before the OEM styles were available). Anyway, it worked out good. However, I did see the Muscle Car show put the quarters on the Challenger along the body line. I guess you have to be really good to do this. I wouldn't dare to try it.

use as much of the patch/original material as you can facilitate. never try and weld on a body line, the finish work will wreck you.
