Bob Motz Ultimate Challenger
« on: May 24, 2009 - 08:21:17 PM »
Has anybody seen the latest Summit Racing Equipment Catalogue?? It has Bob Motz's Ultimate 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T on the cover and a feature article with pictures and a foldout of his Challenger. This is one sweet (and expensive) ride with an all-out custom job. It features a 550 CID Keith Black aluminum Hemi that lays down 815 HP with 745 ft/lbs of torque. A Magnumforce 4130 chromemoly tubular K-member front suspension, 4-link rear Air Ride Technologies ShockWave system. A Tremac TK0600 5-speed transmission, Summit Sport seats covered with Austrian leather, Mercedes carpet, Auto Meter Cobalt Series gages, PPG Custom Blend Candy Apple paint on bottom and Black Cherry top. I wish the pics were better, but you can go to the Summit racing web site and view the slide show or get a catalogue. It's one sweet ride. Very fast, but proably not as fast as his Nitro Methane Kenworth!! :burnout:

I really don't like two tone paint on a E-Body but that is one nice car. I'm kinda interested in how much to build one of those.

I like every thing about the car except one .and thats the tach it looks like some ones kid was given a task and left unsupervised it just looks tacky so many cars end up with gauges stuck everywhere . :2cents:

That car was at SEMA Oct. 07. I saw it there. It had great workmanship done to it.

The wheels are too much, but I love the paint scheme.

Yup,
I definitely like the paint. I am also not too crazy about the seats. I am about comfort AND looks and those seats just don't look too comfortable.
