Is this the begining of the end
« on: May 28, 2009 - 12:06:31 PM »
I just saw on NHRA.com that long time Mopar Pro Stock Racer Larry Morgan is switching to FORD in 2010. I just wonder how much support the factory racer will be getting from Fiat ? It seems there are less and less mopars racing these days in NASCAR-or NHRA. It is really a shame because last year the hemis were really starting to run with the top of the pack. There were at least 5 or 6 Dodges racing in a sea of GM. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens.

We will have to see what happens to all of them with all that is going on.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

JS27 nice pics , mopar has had a long history of over priced parts along with a history of dump and run in racing . Gary Stanton worked with mopar on engine development and had success with kinsers only mopar championship in the out laws thats big and mopar pulled out ,guess what the same for nas trucks along with nascar . in all fairness to mopar it should stay away from nhra ,its ticket sales are in the tank and most teams have c string sponsors if at all .even pinks and pro mod have better programs and thats not much to brag about .things are changing with all the entertainment options today .look at baseball and b ball not to mention f ball with all the bad publicity stands have emptied out and  the economy didnt help. :2cents:
