I'm running a similar set-up, albeit with a slightly smaller sending unit for an aftermarket oil pressure gauge.  I looked for the double 45* fitting that you have, but in the end, just used a T-fitting.  Straight-up to the oil pressure sending unit with the fuel pressure cut-off sticking out of the side.

Can you post a quick pic? Also, where did you get the T fitting? Did you also use a short threaded pipe to get a little extra clearance?

After further review, I was right and wrong.  Because of the distributor, I had to come off the block at a 45, and then go into the Tee.

Sorry for the iffy pic.
