Not vented. Mine has the vent lines on the inside of the trunk so I think I got that part of it covered :2thumbs:

Kevin,

I'm glad you got 1 that works.  Any way you could take a measurement and post a pic of the bottom side.  The problem I have with every cap I've tried is that it is too tight.  The distance from the gasket to the engagement tab is too narrow to allow the cap to go on and then be turned so it locks.

Well the one that I ordered didn't work either :pullinghair: But I ordered NAPA 31722 and it seems to fit on mine :clapping:

I can't seem to find that PN on the website, was there another?  What brand is it, it seems Stant is the only company that actually makes the parts and everyone else just repackages them.

It even gives the Stant # in the details.

Here is the box that it came in. I will get a pic of the underside tonight and post tomorrow. What measurements do you need?

The measurement in my pic on the far right.  Distance from the gasket to the top of the tab.

Thanks for the help,

Wonder why that PN doesn't show up on website.  How did you know which one to get?

The guy behind the counter said to try this one when the other didn't fit is how I came up with it. Anyway the measurement from the gasket to the nubbing is about 1 inch. Hope this helps.  :2thumbs: Let me know if you need any thing else. Sorry about the pictures but it was late and I almost forgot to get them so.............  :walkaway: Let me know if you need clearer pics  :cooldancing:and I can do
 still :working: on it!!!!!!!!

One last favor, can you snap a pic of your filler tube.  There's no way that cap will fit what I have.  It looks like one of the 72 caps I already tried, the nubs are way too long.  You can see mine only has about 1/2" of a lip that it needs to engage inside of the filler tube.

Here's mine. I think ti grabbing on the upper nubs to be honest now that I look at it. All I know is that it work and seems to be held in tightly :2thumbs:
