White satin mopar, Sweet place! Is it true that no matter how big your garage is, it is always too small?

You always need more room because ya always evidentually fill it full. The area of the garage where the Charger and Challenger sit has a 24x24 basement room which I'm making into a little woodworking shop (my other past time), and what is difficult to see in the pic is that the Dart is parked over a pit that give you bumper to bumper access to the undercarriage. I do not fortunately buy stash parts so they do not take up space. However I do have the original 318 out of the Chally and 3 440 blocks with mating trannys sitting on motor dollies. And we are seriously considering building a 24x60 unit adjacent to this garage, it would be "work" space as well as storage, the garage (Mopar Barn) you see is a 36x48 steel beam construction with 14' peak ceiling. Many people (family included) think at my age I'm just an old derranged fart  :roflsmiley: but I got an acre and a half sitting out in the peaceful country side and I consider that my get away home, and with a complete albeit small living quarters why not ? Hell, I even have a washer and dryer to care for my laundry.  :roflsmiley: Life is fun, I intend to enjoy it all I can while I can...........health and time are not gaurented.  :2thumbs:

Here's the garage out back. It is only a 26 x 30. The garage attached to the house has been claimed by the wife. I would love to have a garage like White satins. That is awesome. Sometimes I don't have room to turn around in mine. Especially when I get a car all torn down. It is actually about as clean as it has been in long time in these pictures.

garage? whats a garage?  i live across the street from a lake on a 40 by 100 foot lot.  i have no garage nor is the city inclined to let me build one.  i didnt let that deter me from having a place to work on my project.  this fall im gonna put up a 12 by 24 foot  " shed " with an overhead garage door to store it in.  putting up a shed is alot easier than attempting to get a varianc e for a garage.  i call my makeshift garage " the thunderdome "

I figured I'd share as well since I was taking pics anyway. My pole barn is in complete disarray since I had to bring over a couple trailers full of stuff from my parent's old house yesterday. I'm usually much more organized.
Our house garage. I almost never do any work in there, but growing up without a garage to park my vehicle in made me LOVE always keeping my vehicles under a roof now...especially in the winter

My pole barn. the main selling point of the house when I bought it. I just tore out the soffits in order to clear out a couple of raccoons that have lived in there for the past 10 years. They hate me but I won't have them chewing up any more of my stuff.

I have lots of crap, much of which was inherited. Only one motorized vehicle in this garage runs at the moment and that's the lawn tractor. I have more than enough projects to occupy my time. Now if I could just find a job to actually afford to do something.

I just rolled the Challenger off of my buddy's trailer yesterday. It's still covered in dust and mouse feces but it's what I'm starting with and I still love it. I also hauled over my dad's old lathe that hasn't been used since the early 70's so I need to get that operational again as well just so I have something to tinker on.

My poor neglected Satellite. I just wish someone had stressed to me the importance of "you get what you pay for" when I was a kid. Poor body work and cheap paint combined with years of weathering just doesn't mix. This pic shows that I have too many hobbies as well like my G.I.JOE collecting.

More shots of the Challenger. As you can see, it needs tons of TLC but I'm ready to give it to her one step at a time.

One more of the lathe and the engine lift that were buried behind the Challenger at my parent's old house.

C'mon, that's a stock Rupp GO-JOE from the early 70's, the grandfather of the modern day 4 wheeler, not a common sight. For more info, see here: http://www.ruppbikes.com/GoJoe.htm

The first is mine when I get to use it as a workshop.  The second is what it looks like the rest of the week.
