360 Block, where to get one?

71-74 could be a little stiffer than later blocks but later blocks are also pretty rigid stuff. I have 0.06" overbore in my 80`s block and it`s holding up very well.

You will not find a 1970 360...they didn't come out until 1971.  That said, here's one in Muncie.

I screwed this question up pretty good. What I'd like to find is a 360 motor that would drop in without special brackets. I've got a 70 Challenger with a 318.
 I would like to stoke the 360 to 408..........

That one in Muncie may not be a bad deal.

You can use any 360, no special brackets needed, and if you internally balance the new stroker then use regular Tq converters and balancer too.

Well, all 340-360's use a different bracket but I used a spacer with the 318 mount and it worked perfect on my 340.
