Found a couple more e body pictures I took.

I didn't enter the show, but that is my Cuda in the upper left corner of the pic (in the upper parking lot).  I will have the Cuda finished for next year's show.  :cooldancing:

I thought that was your car. I tried to get up there and take a look, but time wouldn't allow it.

Below is a link to the pictures on the Mopar Alley website. There are 45 pages of pictures, inlcuding way too many of me, but I didn't post them.

Thanks! Yeah I like the '71 trim on the Challengers, it was pretty hard to put together a full set, not to mention expensive! But I'm planning on putting a '71 grille in it and converting over the sidemarkers too, which is why I just bought that '71 drivers side fender. Its a work in progress, but I think we can all say that!  ;D

I met that gentleman too, talked to him for quite a while actually. I took a TON of pictures of his louvers, although I think I only got one of the whole car (oops). I'll resize it and post it up. Nice guy too, awesome car. A true survivor!  :2thumbs:

I can  believe it was expensive to get all that 71 chrome! I needed to replace my passenger side piece and lucked out on e-bay got an NOS peice for $100.00!!  You must have lucked out getting ALL the pieces I understand they are only repoping the fender pieces and NOT the hood so finding them ALL is great!!

You actually only talked to the owner of that 70 for a while? WOW you were lucky! I think he talked my ear off! but I ended up being able to help him out he lost the plate that mounts around the carb to his shaker bubble and I hooked him up with a guy who could possibly help him out!  He says no one in livermore, ca can tell him what size base plate to buy  :dunno: but you are right the car is a TRUE survivor and what a great guy he was!!

I wasn't able to make the show this year and am really kicking myself now.  :pullinghair: Oh well, there's always next year, right!

If you're pushing to get as many E-bodies there as possible in 2010, I might bring my project out. It's running and registered, but still pretty rough (I'm working on that). I doubt I'll have it repainted by then, but we'll see. I hope to have the vinyl top redone at least. I guess I could always bring my Duster if worse comes to worse!

I ran into that original owner of the '70 too, but at the Goodguys show in Pleasanton a while back. He was wondering why I was looking over his car so closely, but once I told him I also own a blue '70 we really started talking...

Sorry I did not meet any new friends at the show. I spent most of my time at the swap meet, voting, and walking around. I was rarely with my car.

The guy with the original blue 70 survivor car, his name is Don. He lives a few miles from me here in Livermore. I met him last year at the supermarket. When he saw my car he struck up a conversation about his car. I thought he was a storyteller at first until I went over to his house and saw it for real. I could not believe it. Rotten flat tires and an inch of dust under the cover. Matching numbers, all original and in amazing shape. I was happy to see he had his car up and running and made it to the show.

Thanks for all the great picture postings.
