when you see a car that the clear has runs on it is this an easy fix? cost involved.. thx

It depends on how many runs and how bad they are. They sell a tool to shave the runs off if they are big. Or, you can sand them off if they are small. Ether way once you remove them you will need to have the area buffed out. Cost depends on how much work you do yourself. Body shops typical charge between $55.00 and $95.00 an hour around here for labor plus materials. You can do it yourself for around $50.00 in materials if you have a buffer.

I've fixed clear runs before. Wouldn't call it "easy" but it can be done with elbow grease and patience.
