Hey guys. I don't mean to be a pain....but....this is not a way to drive more women to the site! Can we take the one picture of the girl with her cheesy butt hanging off the grill off the banner? Girls in nice bikinis...ok, girls in shorts and high heels....ok. But being a girl myself, I sure don't want to be seeing a girl's butt every time I open up this cool sight. I'm sure you wouldn't want to be staring at a man's naked hairy butt every time you opened up this site...otherwise you would have already put one up. :-/

Just a thought and something to laugh about.

either by the end of tonight or sometime tomorrow the color scheme of the site will be revised to go along with a new banner that will also be implemented. the new banner will still have that same pic, infact bigger and in the middle. if it is deemed this new change is undesirable by most of the members, i can change it back.

just my own 2 cents again, I have to agree with ladies here. I think it would be nice to just keep this as what it was made for...our cars, a place to learn and help others. Making this site enjoyable for all will make this a success, maybe its true that other sites that uses the bikini and butt pics get more votes or traffic, but looking at those sites, thats all they really offer. I was thinking, and i am a internet idiot so bare with me, but what will having more members do?does it bring in capital or revenue? members arent customers here,we are not buying anything, so more doesnt matter, yes they will come here and this site will grow, sure I know this site wants to be a success and recognized as maybe being the premier cuda-challenger info site, but having a more members that dont post or get involved wont help, will it? escpecially if they are just here to see pics of butts and boobies, Will having these pics set this site apart from the other's? I think not,frankly those site's are trash,with no info or knowledge for the resto freaks that we are. I love my cars, and enjoy learning from others and trying to help. Im sure others feel the same, so maybe lets not alienate anyone. And lets move on.Also as a suggestions to increase the quality of members, we all can advertise for this site, maybe a nice printable banner we can take to car shows and place on our dashes with the web address or something. I know alot of BS rambling.....

I totally agree, too.

And my suggestion is: Show burn-out pics! I don't see many of them on the banners, but everyone I know sure loves to see them.

And if YOU guys don't use it on your site, I most certainly will for mine! Hee hee! Actually, I probably will anyhow ... summer's a'comin' and I'll be taking burn-out pics! Yeah!

its interesting there is like 176 members,of those it seem like its the same 8-10 members maybe a few more that post and respond and keep things rolling. ( my numbers are probally off) but look at the posts and the responses..always the same members. So what is more members going to do, for every 50 that sign up only like 2 will contribute

I thought of some other reasons that banner's not good to use ... more on the light side:

Consider ... what if XS (or was it CudaKen?) is at this site and his wife walks in? We all know he's had to sleep in the garage before ........ LOL!

And, did you even STOP TO CONSIDER that just PERHAPS there's a lady here with a gorgeous butt herself that might've been proud to be part of your banner? <SEG>

I have had comments from folks that they can't go to this site anymore due to this banner. Kids can't go here without mothers freaking out.

If the banner does not change, I will no longer be coming here.

Sorry, guys. I have 4 kids. I don't want them wondering why Mommy is looking at women's butts. And I don't want my boys seeing it. That's not how I am going to raise my kids.

My kids will know that women are not just for butts and cars are not just for getting women.

Please send me an e-mail if you do a more tasteful banner and I'd be glad to come back around. I really like this place.

Ross, I have to side with Lah Tera on this one. I enjoy the links Cuda Guy has posted to pics, but as was previously said, if you don't want to look at the pics, don't click on the links. I really like the diversity we have on this board, and if the ladies leave we'll loose some of that. It's just not worth it over a pic on the banner!
