Another BB Head Question
« on: July 05, 2009 - 02:40:26 AM »
How many people out there would buy the Edelbrock Victor Head?  Does anyone out there have these heads?  Thoughts?

Well my experience is stay Far away from them
it took me 32 hrs to get them to the point where the engine would turn over after I got them , there is a detailed account in the Proven engine section
Eddy did half of the engineering to fit them & then stopped , I had troble getting the correct rocker arms as they were designed around an obsolete Mopar Performance rocker arm  , then had to relocate all the pushrod holes as they were not  even remotely close to be positioned correctly .
I have no idea if Eddy has corrected any of the blatant errors or not

I wonder what that new head is going to be like.  I looked on their site and saw nothing.  Anyway, thanks for the warning on those heads.  As you all said, there will be far too much time ($$$) into these for what I was willing to put into them.  It sounds that eddy products just are not up to par for the Mopar world.  Lets see what their new head does!
