leaf spring u-bolt plate

I'm looking for a leaf spring u-bolt plate for '71 cuda.  This plate also has the lower shock mount stud on it. {accidentally broke off the threaded part of stud}  Been looking all over the 'net, don't know where else to look.

Not sure where you live, but salvage yards in the states have many of them. They can be pulled off any number of A or B bodied vehicles. Did you search the classifieds here yet?

Be sure you know what axle you have before you order. For example, a plate for a 7 1/4" axle won't be near big enough for the U-Bolts on a 8 3/4" axle.

Some of the 8 3/4'' versions have deeper stud mounting points too. Post a photo of the one you have (from the back, with the stud pointing at the camera) & one of us may be able to match it up for you.
