Running a fuel regulator - where do you put it?
« on: July 08, 2009 - 11:24:14 AM »
I have a new Edelbrock carb that is flooding occasionally. My mech fuel pump pulses between 7.5 and 9psi and needs to be regulated. I bought a regulator and am in the process of installing it. Would like to see some of your installations. The unit is larger than I expected. I'd like to keep it out of site but if not, on top of manifold.

Any ideas or pics of installs?

Mine is in about the same spot as Stroker's - but I have the bracket to drop it next to the carb (hangs off the two manifold bolts). Just have to make the time to move it.

Got all my parts in and put it together. No leaks! The unit comes torque striped from the factory at 2.0psi.  :clueless:

I cranked it up to 5.0psi and all good. Pulsing is gone. It did get a little warmer than I'd like but it idles steady as a rock.
