I don't think a lowered car is gangster at all. Maybe if it had 22in rims or something... Look at pictures of the salt flats in the 50s those cars were true hot rods and they were lowered. This is 2009 cars do not have to be jacked up anymore to have big tires.

Looks mean. I like the '68 Chargers!!! Kinda looks like the '68 Charger in the chase scene with Steve McQueen in the movie "Bullet"  :burnout:

I'm going for that look with my Daytona clone. The wing will be black as well with no stripe. I'm trying to decide on the wheels and tires at this point.

I can't handle the gangster (low to the ground) look.  :2cents:

I usually don't appreciate our cars that are low in the rear.  But this sinister car low in the rear makes me think it's evil and just robbed a place.  The trunk is full of GOLD COINS!  :aarg: This one can get the imagination going!
HIS: '68 GMC 3/4 ton pick-up truck, '73 Barracuda, '87 Firebird, '01 Jeep Cherokee and finally a '70 Barracuda Convertible!
HERS: 1980 Toyota Starlet, 1995 SAAB 9-5 and then '01 SAAB 9-3 and currently '08 Saab 9-3 convertible!
NEXT IS MINE: purple 2010 Dodge Challenger!!!

Dark and menacing look.  Nice job, but I prefer the triple black Assassin look from Bullit.
