Rattling windows

About 4 centuries ago, HotRod98 said:

One possibility...There are two L shaped brackets that have one end covered in a fuzzy material. They are bolted to the inside of the door near the top and rest against the glass. They act as guides and they keep the glass from rattling. If the fuzzy material is gone of if the bracket/s have fallen off it will rattle bad when the window is down and you shut the door.

I have the brackets with the fuzzies, but they are only on one side if the window. What pushes on the glass on the other side?  :clueless:

By window channel, if you are referring to the rubber strip on the outside edge of the door, I understand. But let me post the picture of the parts I need to put back in the door. Picture to come....

The bottom row or brackets fit on the inside of the door and push the window outward. Where do the bottom row of brackets go? I cant find them in the shop manual.

the bottom brackets bolt at the top of the inside door frame to push the glass out and make it tight. they should have soft and fuzzy material on them. not sure if it is repoped?

The fuzzy stuff came off when I cleaned up the parts, so I will be replacing it. I have found where the bottom row go, but I am thinking that the top  row goes on the other side of the glass. This would keep the window from rattling. The 73 shop manuals I have do not show this part. I will keep looking for a place to bolt the parts on.

Thanks for the help;
