door locks
« on: July 29, 2009 - 11:23:01 AM »
was working on my door and noticed that i'm only able to lock it when the door is fully closed. therefore when i get out of the vehicle i have to lock it with a key instead of just pressing the button then closing the door.  both my doors do it.
IS this normal?
thanks :)

That was a 1970 only thing. I like it personally. You won't lock your keys in the car that way.

what I did on my Chall is I bent 1 small tab on the passenger door so the button can be pushed down to lock it so I don`t have to walk all around the car to lock the other door after my passenger gets out , then I just lock the drivers door with the key
