Need Rear End HELP
« on: July 27, 2009 - 02:28:22 AM »
this rear end i have on the car now, something is wrong. It goes in reverse just find, easy to push, but when i push it forward, one tire sticks and its impossible to push. No engine, no tranny, no driveshaft hooked up to it. The part for the drum is already gone, so its not the brake or E-brake. I put my driveshaft end on and put a pipe wrench on it, hoping to turn it, but it is stuck. Jacked up, one wheel turns forward, the other is rotating backwards, limited slip? But shouldn't it work when on the ground? why won't the front where my driveshaft is suppost to be hooked up wont turn at all, i can hear slipping when i turn my axles? help, info would be greatly appreciated! thanks

so if i take the cover off and try to pull the axles out, think that will solve the problem if i start from there?  :working:
