i would take that as a do not use your stock ones.

even if it would work the stock springs will be 35 years old , time to replace them & match the spring to the cam is the load needs to be increased with a fast ramp cam

I was answering his original question. I was referring to stock springs not the suggested ones. I am sure they would be fine. Guess I could have been a bit more specific lol.

Looks like a decent cam, not terribly radical. But you really need better springs to go with it!
