caliper lacation
« on: August 08, 2009 - 12:40:09 PM »
Are the calipers on a 73 Cuda at the front or back of the wheel? My service manual showed the rear, but when running the brake line it has a pretty tight bend into the caliper.Got a feeling im going to have to take this all apart and switch spindles.

I had this problem when putting mine together, had to switch spindles to fix it.

Do the upper arm have to be changed as well?

The calipers should be mounted on the front.  That is the way they are on my 73 Challenger.  They can be mounted on the back but you have to use different brake hoses.
