I saw the weigh slip.  2458 without driver. 60ft was a 1.25  1.23 1.26  had a 13/1 440. I went and saw the car. It took all day till 9pm tonight getting back.  It is what it looks like in the pics. It will take me a few months to finish the car since I have to go back out to work.   Need to finish the fiberglass mounting, install the door handle, install windows, change some wireing and a fuel line, re tin one front floor pan, brakes shoes, lots of little stuff then install my engine to the 2 spd that comes with it. I couldnt build a car for the price he is asking. It's just going to be a local 1/8th mile car is all.   I did get some extra 915 heads, 906 heads ported, msd dist, mallory unilite, and a mallory dual point, plus a crank a few pans, a 400 block and other stuff I will sell off.Has some team g intakes and stuff too, and some 1.6 crane roller rockers n pushrods...yadda  yadda.  Hope to trailer it home sat or sunday

Just going to congratulate you Al on your purchase, I hope that the above post is an old one or is he selling it twice?
:burnout:  I'll bet you have planned how you would be going to build,   :working:  make sure you keep us in the loop with plenty of pictures. Maybe you can start a topic on a step by step what to do/how to do for those members who may want to build a similar car.

Well, it is for sale again. Not because I want it to. I have the money right here, and had looked at the car and was going to pick it up today. My friend showed up with his truck to pull my trailer down there to.  Also, the owner of the race car is a good guy and easy to talk to, but I have an issue that popped up about my other tube chassis car. There seems to be a conflict that I can not discuss, and was really counting on getting the challenger. I went to the track tonight. I was bummed out.  I am hoping I can resolve the issue before someone buys it out from under me.
