Mod Top Cuda in MCG
« on: August 18, 2009 - 10:55:56 AM »
On page 11 there is a teaser photo of Juliano's one of one Mod Top Hemi Cuda.
Here is a rear view we have if it.

Here's another photo grouping.

I just think it's a neat looking car myself.

I though Ertyl made like 1,000,000 of those things.  :roflsmiley:

The real car is sweet!  :swaying:

Ertl has made a TON of E-Body's but this is a new highly detailed mold by Die Cast Promotions / Hwy 61 that actually is ran by Fred Ertl III. If you've never seen (really looked at) these new versiona, it's amazing the improvements they have done over the last 10 years. Features now include opening glove boxes, cloth seat belts, heater hoses, battery cables, a rotating driveshaft, and even that paint overspray on the chassis. You'd be amazed. Even jack instructions under the opening deck lid, with a spare, jack, and trunk mat in there.

Here's a photo to show how many 1:18 die cast car engine compartments can now look.

That is one sexy car....... i remember Steve Juliano telling me that he was not real sure how it will turn out and if the Yellow Mod Top will look good against the Green.

 but i say it looks way cool. :2thumbs:
And the detail on the new models you are offering is outstanding, i have the other two Mod Tops from the series and the detail is phanominal. :woo:

Love the detail!  I have a couple Highway 61 cars and there are great!
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.
