rear filler panels

Did you install the metal filler piece that the 70-72 Challengers use, or did you just remove the rubber pieces and push the bumper in?

bumper is slammed in.

The bumpers do look better moved in but I'm just saying that 70-72 still used a metal filler under the tail lights.  You can hardly see it but it fills the gap between the body and the bumper.
