Turn Signal Lever Question

Hi Gang,

Has anybody removed the plastic handle from the lever/arm?
How did you do it? I want to have my are cleaned up and chromed.

use some steel wool [Fine ] & polish it back up

I went to the website. I was looking for an application for that
arm. I seem to recall that ebody, maybe Challenger, arms were
a different length than A and B bodies.

My arm is rusty and pitted. Not sure it will buff out but perhaps I
will try that first.
