K Frame Skid Plate
« on: August 18, 2009 - 12:39:30 PM »
The K-frame that came with my car is not original.  My car is a 440/4bbl 70 Challenger.  Should the k-frame have the skid plate?  I have seen them on Hemi and 6 pack cars, but never really thought about the 4 bbl cars. If so, is there a source for just the skid plate?

I believe the 440 4 bbl cars still used the 5 qt deeper pan so they should have the skid plate to protect it
Mancinis has the plate available to modify your K
