Re Pop Bumpers
« on: August 19, 2009 - 10:47:16 PM »
I've read through some older posts - does anyone have any recent experience with re-pop bumpers for Challengers?   Like many before me, I'm on the fence as to whether to buy new re-pops or send mine out to get re-chromed.....    Also, I'm still a bit confused as to the overall quality of the repops...... and any differences between vendors (Right now, there are at least two different ebayers selling front/rear bumpers for roughly the same price - are they basically the same manufacturer?)

Has anyone purchased re-pops recently that might share their experience and/or opinions on overall fit & quality?

Thanks

I've heard that the "Bumper Boyz" should be stayed away from.  I don't know if that's one of the places you were looking at or not.

I have read a lot of posts on chroming over the years and it seems like the common theme is "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR"

I have heard the "TriCity Plating" out of Tenn. is really good.  I took one of their business cars at the Nats a few weeks ago.  I'm going to have my origonal bumpers re-chromed.
