I need a safety hood latch for a 70 challenger. Does anybody know if the safety hood latch for a 70-74 cuda will work? Will they interchange?

no they are totally different , I am pretty sure I sold the spare one I had

oh crap and i already hit the buy it now for the one for a cuda

can anyone post a pic of the 70 challenger safety latch the one that adapts to the hood and the one for a cuda? they look very similar and i hit the buy it now so i feel bad for the seller

actually it will bolt on & should work ok but the tab you lift to release the latch is much shorter on the Cuda

So should I get the one off the cuda n use it or should I just find one for a challenger?

the Cuda one will work until you can find the right one for your car at least

I just installed a T/A hood, but mine had the arm braised on the hood latch.
