How many of you have been following the Little Leauge World Series? Seems to me this years grouping are more solid and evenly matched and there is no one individual pitcher dominating play. Personally I think the winner of tonight's second game will win the series. I'm rooting for the Georgia team, but the Texas team is well coached and can take it all too. I just don't think the foreign teams are as deep in talent overall this year, but that one team (name? never heard of them before) can flat out fly, lots of speed, even stole home when the catcher threw the ball back to the pitcher. And how about that little boy on the German team
, he was only 6'2" and weighed 233#, that's a good college LB
One more:.............Seems that woman track and field runner has a bit of testosterone level that puts her true gender in question. This poor gal/guy can't win, either your banned or your embarrased into humilitian. From the obvious build differences you'd think this kind of test would have been done in order to qualify for competition.
On another note in the sports department: ESPN is reporting that there is a bit of contraversary in the Vikings locker room. Seems ole Brett dosen't have all that much support, a little displeasure going on. Watch it escalate, sad that this is going to possibly ruin a team..........at least for a possible season is concerned. If this dosen't work out and resolve it'self there will probably be a new coach before the end of the season.
